Ace hardware tries to do its bit in any way possible. Few of our initiatives:
Welfare of children - We endeavour to provide free education to the children of our employees. Out of the total number of children that are sponsored every year, 50% of the sponsorships are reserved for girls. The selection is purely on merit basis & all classes of employees are entitled to apply.
The programme has been running successfully since 2003 and in view of its success, we continue to increase the sponsorships every year.
No child labour - all employees at Ace are more than 18 years of age.
Conserving water - the factory will have a rain water harvesting system which will help in conserving water.
Almost 6,000 sq. Feet of greenery in the new plant.
